A Breeo fire pit is an excellent addition to any backyard or patio, providing warmth and ambiance to outdoor gatherings. But did you know that there are a variety of accessories available that can enhance your fire pit experience even further?
Let’s start with my absolute favorite accessory, the great grate.
Outpost Cooking Grate
The Outpost cooking grate is an excellent accessory for anyone who enjoys fire pit cooking. The system includes a post which inserts into the rim of your fire pit and a grate that attaches to the post.
The Outpost cooking grate is made from 304 stainless steel and is designed to withstand high temperatures. It is also adjustable, allowing you to control the heat and cook your food to perfection.

The Outpost also comes with a stake that enables you to use the grate over any open fire. This versatile accessory is perfect for outdoor cooking and camping trips.

There’s also a nice carrying bag included, making it easy to transport and store.
Breeo Lid
The Breeo Lid is a versatile accessory that serves multiple functions. It keeps the inside of your fire pit dry and clean, protecting it from rain and debris. It also doubles as a table, providing a convenient surface for drinks and snacks on those days you’re not burning.

The lid also adds style to your Breeo when it’s not in use.
Breeo Heat Deflector
The Breeo Heat Deflector is a must-have accessory if you want to use your Breeo on super cold nights. Instead of letting the heat escape straight up into the sky, the deflector pushes the heat out towards you and your guests. It can be adjusted to focus the heat higher or lower, depending if you’re sitting or standing near your pit.

We love using the heat deflector on below-freezing nights in Pennsylvania. If you’re standing next to the fire there will be a ton of heat pushed toward you.
Breeo Fire Pit Base
The purpose of the Breeo Fire Pit Base is to provide a stable and safe foundation for your Breeo fire pit, protecting your lawn or patio from heat damage or scorching. The base raises the fire pit off the ground, allowing for improved airflow and oxygen supply to the fire, which results in a hotter and more efficient burn.
Breeo states the Base is ‘multi-surface safe’ and lists these surfaces where the Base can be used: natural stone, block, poured concrete, wood, composite material, asphalt, wood chips. You don’t need it for stone, but the base is a must-have accessory if you want to use your Breeo on a wood or composite deck.
Breeo Fire Pit Gloves
The Breeo Fire Pit Gloves are great because they provide superior heat resistance and protection for your hands while you are tending to your fire pit. These gloves are made of heavy-duty, heat-resistant leather that can withstand high temperatures up to 1000°F.

They are designed to fit comfortably and snugly on your hands, with long cuffs that extend up your forearms, providing additional protection from the heat and flames.
Breeo Ash Shovel
If you own a Breeo fire pit, you know how important it is to keep the ash cleaned out of the bottom of the pit. The Breeo Ash Shovel is the perfect tool for this job. Made from durable 304 stainless steel, this shovel is designed to last and withstand the high heat of your fire pit.
The best part of the Breeo Ash Shovel is its upright handle. This handle makes it easy to scoop the ash around the vents in the bottom of the Breeo. The other ash shovels/scoops I’ve tried are too long, so it’s hard to maneuver them in the fire pit.
Breeo 304 Fire Poker
If you’re looking for a durable and versatile fire tool that can handle all your fire tending needs, the Breeo 304 Fire Poker is an excellent choice.
Its multi-use tip is equipped with a tapered point for a serious grip, a hook “swoop” for lifting and adjusting, a serrated edge for rolling logs and moving coals, a flat edge for ash clearing, a chisel point for pushing logs, and a utility notch.
The 304 stainless steel poker comes with a leather strap, making it easy to hang and access when needed. At 40″ long and 2lb. 3oz, it’s long enough, but not too heavy.
Where to buy Breeo accessories?
There are a few different options for purchasing Breeo fire pit accessories, depending on your preferences and needs.
The best option is to purchase directly from the Breeo website, which offers the entire selection of accessories for their fire pits. There are a lot more accessories than the seven we discussed today. Plus, when you purchase through the website, you’ll earn points for future Breeo purchases. More on that shortly.
Another option is to purchase from a third-party retailer, such as Amazon or Home Depot. From what I’ve seen, the prices are the same at any of these places.
How to get ‘free’ Breeo accessories
If you’re a die-hard Breeo fan, you’ll want to check out the Breeo Firemaster Club. As a member of the Firemaster Club, you can earn points by buying Breeo products, signing up for the email list, having a birthday, and much more. You can then redeem those points for Breeo accessories, like the gloves, shovel, hat, shirt, and more.
To get started with the Firemaster Club, simply sign up on the Breeo website.
Wrapping up
Breeo fire pit accessories can enhance your outdoor experience by providing versatile cooking options, better heat distribution and safety. The Outpost cooking grate, fire pit base, lid, and heat deflector are just a few of the top accessories available for Breeo fire pits.
You shouldn’t use the lid to snuff out the fire. I’ve done it when the flames were low and only hot coals were left. It won’t harm the lid, but Breeo warns that it could cause damaging creosote buildup in your fire pit. There are better ways to put out your Breeo.
Yes, Breeo typically offers sales and discounts on accessories on Black Friday and Memorial Day weekend.
